What to sell on Vinted in 2026: choose items using evidence

There is no verified market-wide bestseller ranking in this guide. A brand name or a popular social post cannot tell you whether your specific size, condition and asking price will attract a buyer. Start with items you already own and can describe accurately.

Sort by how well you can document the item

Put garments into three groups: ready to photograph, requiring care or measurement, and unsuitable to list until a problem is resolved. A complete label, working fastening and clear condition history can make preparation easier. This is a workload assessment, not a prediction of demand.

For jeans, record model, waist, rise, inside leg and hem wear. For knitwear, check composition, pilling and stretched cuffs. For outerwear, check lining, zips and detachable parts. These details distinguish genuine comparables from superficially similar listings.

Observe the market without inventing sales data

Search the exact garment type, size and condition. Record a small set of asking prices and dates. Active offers measure supply; they do not establish achieved prices. Disappearance is not proof of sale. Do not convert these observations into a percentage chance of selling.

Season can guide when an item is useful, but weather, location and personal needs vary. List a clearly described coat when you can prepare it properly rather than relying on a universal “best day”.

Learn from your own stock

Keep a sheet with item, listing date, price changes, questions and confirmed sale proceeds. Compare similar items over comparable periods. If you purchase for resale, include acquisition, care, packaging, handling time and unsold stock before calling a category profitable.
