Clothing photography with Vougly

AI flat lay clothing photography and backgrounds

Choose a surface and present clothing without a model. A flat lay shows its shape from above, while a background change may keep the garment on a hanger.

The garment first. A setting that fits.

  1. Wood and fabric: a visible surface beneath the garment without setting up a home studio.

  2. Marble and concrete: a calm background for viewing the outline of an item.

  3. Match the label to the result: a garment on a hanger is not a flat lay. Review the output before describing it.

One garment. More ways to show it.

Real input photos and Vougly results. Look at both versions and compare the details before using an image.

Crochet dress

Compare the openwork pattern, neckline and length. A different arrangement changes how the stitching appears.

Lace dress

Check the lace, waistline and sleeve finish. An AI image does not replace a close-up of the actual fabric.

Olive jacket

Compare the pockets, fastening and fabric colour. The hanger image shows a new background, not a flat lay.

Look closer at the details

Open the full-size photo. Check seams, buttons, lettering and texture. A generated image is an interpretation, not a measurement of the garment.

Start with a clear photograph

  1. Show the whole garment, including sleeves and hems. Smooth out folds that hide its shape.
  2. Use even daylight and a simple background. Turn off filters that alter colour.
  3. Take separate photos of the label, texture and faults. Keep them as a record of the actual item.
